Hello all you bloggers!
Welcome to my first full blog for Liquorice Tree. I’m the owner of this small independent Scottish company based at Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports. We sell beautiful things that happen to be made in Scotland. But sometimes I buy stuff that’s irresistible despite not being made on our bonny banks.
Our customers keep telling us that you would love us to open up shops on the high street so you could buy our stuff all year round- not just when you go on your hols. We are looking at doing something on the high street soon. (I’m thinking Glasgow’s West End and the Grassmarket in Edinburgh?) So until then, I wanted to start a blog to connect with all of you that have passed through our shops and maybe create some interest from those who haven’t been in yet. Because we are not on the high street we can’t stick a sign in the window to let you know when we have new products or a special offer on so this way we can reach you and keep you posted on what’s just landed or flying out the door....... excuse the bad airport puns!
I’ll be doing regular update....bios on our designers and featuring their latest products and I’ll also be linking into other fashion, jewellery and craft sites I think you will find interesting. Maybe some ideas for gifts for upcoming occasions.
I was also thinking of adding some personal stuff about the team any myself- having just lost 5 stone I'm shopping till I’m dropping for a new wardrobe and accessories so looking at loads of new stock! I could post my before and after pics but that would really scare you all off!
